We often encounter difficult situations when introducing new technologies to our patients, students, children, and so on, and we struggle to find appropriate resources for our little ones. This is an effective, motivating, and engaging tool that can develop a multitude of skills.
Below I will describe some applications aimed at cognitive, perceptive, emotional development... after many hours of study, research and testing, I use all of them with my "children" with and without difficulties and they have given me exceptional results, each one designed for specific skills but all of them simple, well designed and advisable from a professional, school and family point of view.
Today I'm taking the liberty of talking about "MyFirstApp," a project by three developers, parents of children between 1 and 7 years old. A computer engineer, a graphic designer, and an educational psychologist, the game combines color, music, and graphics perfectly. Matching, association, categorization, relationships, synthesis, reasoning, deduction, motivation, nearby objects, memory, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination... a multitude of skills come into play for the stimulation and development of little ones. In my opinion, these are educational games that shouldn't be missing from our touchpad devices. I've spent hours researching them, and I think they have incredible graphics, content, and motivation for little ones. There's such a variety of games that they're sure to capture the attention of all children, and the increasing difficulty levels by age range are perfectly suited for independent play.
In the field of special education, of course, given the high motivation these devices offer for our children with special educational needs, they are essential for any family, therapist, or teacher. They also offer bundles for use with recording sheets, charts, and customization options for each child.
Many thanks to these magnificent professionals, my most sincere congratulations.
