Life sends you lightning and storms, so that you wake up.

Life disappoints you so you stop living in illusions and see reality. Life destroys everything superfluous, until only the important remains. Life doesn't leave you alone, so you stop fighting and accept everything that Is. Life takes away what you have, until you stop complaining and are grateful. Life sends you conflictive people so you heal and stop reflecting on the outside what you have inside.
Life lets you fall again and again, until you decide to learn your lesson. Life throws you off track and presents you with crossroads, until you stop wanting to control and flow like a river. Life puts enemies in your path, until you stop "reacting." Life scares and shocks you as many times as necessary, until you lose your fear and regain your faith.
Life takes true love away from you, it doesn't grant it or allow it, until you stop trying to buy it with trinkets.
Life separates you from the people you love until you realize that we are not this body, but the soul it contains. Life laughs at you so many times, until you stop taking everything so seriously and laugh at yourself. Life breaks you and fractures you into as many pieces as necessary for the light to penetrate.
Life confronts you with rebels until you stop trying to control. Life repeats the same message to you, even with screams and slaps, until you finally listen. Life sends you lightning bolts and storms to awaken you. Life humiliates and defeats you again and again until you decide to let your ego die. Life denies you possessions and greatness until you stop wanting possessions and greatness and begin to serve. Life clips your wings and prunes your roots until you no longer need wings or roots, but only to disappear into forms and fly from Being. Life denies you miracles until you understand that everything is a miracle. Life shortens your time so that you hurry to learn how to live. Life ridicules you until you become nothing, until you become nobody, and thus you become everything.
Life doesn't give you what you want, but what you need to evolve. Life hurts you, wounds you, torments you, until you let go of your whims and tantrums and are grateful to breathe. Life hides its treasures from you until you embark on the journey, until you go out to find them. Life cuts you short, prunes you, takes away, breaks you, disillusiones you, cracks you, shatters you... until only LOVE remains in you.

A German educator, theologian, and spiritualist known for creating family constellations, a pseudoscientific therapy that postulates that family members influence each other's health and behavior. He teaches courses aimed at training "constellators."
